Dr. Iswadi started his formal education from elementary school in his home village (Kubu Cubadak, Rumbio Jaya, Kampar, Riau) in 1985 to the Ph.D degree in electrical engineering and electronics at Queen's University of Belfast, Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom in 2016. He conducted his Ph.D research at Energy Power and Intelligent Control (EPIC) research cluster
